Lately there has been a lot of research done on virtual reality and how it can be used to narrate a story. But will this replace the good old story telling? Will children of the future be putting on virtual reality glasses at night time instead of listening to their parent’s tales? While some people would argue for that, we are convinced that nothing can substitute this quality time between parents and children. Further, children have to use their imagination to dive into this fairy tale world whereas creativity is not triggered as much by just putting on glasses.
At Thy English Academy, teachers use real books and worksheets instead of online forms and e-books. We believe that there is something magic in writing something down by hand instead of typing it up which makes it easier for the children to remember.
