According to a recently released study, the “Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study“ (TIMSS) Singaporeans are the highest achieving children in these subjects. England’s place in this ranking hasn’t changed in the last four years. However, Ireland’s Secondary School pupils are number 6 in Mathematics. Overall the highest achieving countries are mainly Asian: Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan occupy the top five ranking.
We want to make an impact on this ranking by delivering better education to primary and secondary school students. We believe, that together we can turn it around and will hopefully achieve a higher rank in 4 years, when these international rankings are released next.
