While most of us only think about stained glass art in the context of churches, there are many other application of this extraordinary style of art. Nowadays, tourist shops, casinos and even museums feature stained glass art in various shapes and colours. Recently, West Elm has released a glass-panel wall hanging created by Los Angeles design studio commune. This new part of their collection is particularly interesting because of the modern choice of colours including cerulean blue, cherry red, amethyst and sapphire.
This is one of many examples how our themed workshops find an application in an economic environment. Only a handful of people acquire the skill of stained glass art designing at a high proficiency and some of them would like to pass on their expertise to the next generation.
