Closing the racial discipline gap

New studies have revealed that students with an Afro-American background are more often put in their places than their white classmates. According to the study the solution would be to integrate more discussion and critical as well as analytical thinking in everyday school life. Scientists and psychologists are convinced that this would reduce the racial gap.  Students would feel more connected with their teachers and they would know who to approach when they are in trouble which minimizes the general necessity for punishment.
