On Wednesday the result of the American presidential election has been released showing that Donald Trump will be president of the United States for the next four years. President Trump was able to gather 276 electoral votes and hence obtained the majority of votes. Many heads of states have congratulated the freshly elected president on his success, although they also highlight that their countries’ population might not support the result.
Whatever one might think of the election’s outcome it is of utmost importance for our children to have basic knowledge of the world we live in.
